Still smarting from their showdown with loudmouth Bill O'Reilly, Dana White and Rich Franklin were once again out defending the integrity of the UFC.
This time, however, it appears that Newsday paints a much more balanced picture.
Here's a snip:
The UFC has evolved and so has its fighters. Gone are the days of no rules, no weight classes and no technique. Today, it's a rock-n-roll chess match where many of the multi-disciplined fighters have some wrestling, jiu-jitsu, muay thai, boxing and kickboxing backgrounds. Don't misunderstand, though, there are still displays of barbarity. But these men aren't barbarians.
The feature also discusses Rich Franklin's injuries and his road to recovery, as well as Light Heavyweight Champion Chuck Liddell's exploits in the bedroom.
Definitetly something you're gonna want to read.
