In case you weren't born in the 1970s -- or earlier -- SpikeTV will provide many "youngsters" with the opportunity to learn about the legendary exploits of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu master Royce Gracie.
SpikeTV will air a special one hour tribute at 9:00 pm ET tonight during "UFC Unleashed" to the man who takes credit for "building the UFC." If you're unfamiliar with the program, here's a brief explanation:
"The best fights in the Octagon. UFC Unleashed is a themed hour of the best fights, legendary fighters and previews of upcoming battles."
The special will re-air on Monday, April 24 at 9:00 pm ET on SpikeTV.
Gracie, of course, will challenge Matt Hughes for the UFC Welterweight Championship at UFC 60 on May 27. The old man will need to pull out all the stops against the current titleholder. But, if anyone is capable of getting Hughes to tap out, it's Royce Gracie.
