Dominick Cruz, who broke his left index finger prior to fighting Joseph Benavidez in August of last year (2010), will reportedly have surgery this week, according to ESPN.com. The UFC bantamweight champion commented on his recovery process: "It could be six months, but I'm not planning on six months. I'll say that it will take me eight weeks to recover and 12 weeks to punch again." Will a long awaited rematch against Urijah Faber be awaiting him upon his return?
