UFC Welterweight Mike Swick has reason to smile, considering he just signed a four-fight deal with the UFC prior to his recent trip to the Philippines. Swick recently returned from a two and a half year layoff to score a second round knockout of DaMarques Johnson to open up the UFC on Fox 4 main card, which netted him a "Knockout of the Night" bonus. MMA Fighting's Esther Lin took an awesome photo of Mike Swick finishing DaMarques Johnson at UFC on Fox 4.

Mike Swick tweets, "Little fluid in the knee... Surgery next week then recovery time!". Swick has a torn ACL and a torn MCL which required him to withdraw from his fight at UFC 134 in Rio against Erick Silva.

This is one of Mike Swick's biggest little fans, Jaxson Johnson. Swick tweeted: "My buddy Jaxson now fights Leukemia as an official Swick-Fu Ninja! Stay Strong Buddy! ;) Yea this is the little guy I met in Austin a while back. We're facebook buddies & he always fills me in on all the details of kid life. Which comes in handy since I am about to have a kid myself! I send him my stuff forcing him to have to be a fan.
