UFC Welterweight Mike Swick has reason to smile, considering he just signed a four-fight deal with the UFC prior to his recent trip to the Philippines. Swick recently returned from a two and a half year layoff to score a second round knockout of DaMarques Johnson to open up the UFC on Fox 4 main card, which netted him a "Knockout of the Night" bonus. Are you excited to see more of Swick in the Octagon?
David Mitchell has reportedly suffered an injury and has pulled out of his fight with Mike Swick at the UFC's "Fight for the Troops" event on Jan. 22, according to MMAWeekly.com. Swick has updated, via his Facebook page, that he will not be fighting on the Jan. 22 card and will take more time to treat his esophageal condition before returning to the Octagon.
GSP + AKA = EOFs (Eye Orbital Fractures). Maybe a move back to middleweight would be in Mike Swick's best interest, no?
