Strikeforce has added several more bouts to their September 10th card, which will feature the semifinal round of the Heavyweight Grand Prix. Rising Canadian prospect Jordan Mein will face Evangelista "Cyborg" Santos, Josh "the Punk" Thompson will meet Maximo Blanco, "King Mo" Lawal fights Roger Gracie, and "Jacare" Souza defends his middleweight title against Luke Rockhold.
Gesias "JZ" Cavalcante is reportedly set to return to Strikeforce at an unannounced date in February, according to Tatame.com. He was quoted as saying he would like to rematch Josh Thomson in San Jose to "make things clear." With the Thomson fight unlikely, who should "JZ" fight next?
MMAFighting.com's, Ariel Helwani, is reporting that former Strikeforce lightweight champion, Josh Thomson, has signed to fight DREAM's Tatsuya Kawajiri on the December 31st "Dynamite!!" event.
