Despite having his arm broken in two last night (Dec. 10, 2011) at UFC 140 by Frank Mir, Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira is all smiles on the airplane taking him to the hospital to get surgery done. As tweeted by UFC President Dana White: "Getting Big Nog to LA to get that arm fixed. #toughasnails" Indeed. Frank Mir literally loses his shirt at "Absinthe" show in Las Vegas, getting pulled from the audience by host, The Gazillionaire. The shirtless former UFC champion was then coaxed to "nuzzle a man," according to The Las Vegas Review Journal. "Hilarity" reportedly ensued.

The former heavyweight champ joined his wife Jennifer at the Nevada Ballet Theatre's 27th Annual Black and White Ball to honor Priscilla Presley as NBT's "Woman of the Year." Season 13 of The Ultimate Fighter (TUF), initially scheduled to feature both middleweights and welterweights, will now feature only 170-pound fighters, according to Heavy.com. The coaches for the popular reality television series are also reportedly set to be announced in the coming week. With Frank Mir now booked to fight Roy Nelson, that would seemingly nix a previously rumored coaching stint against Brock Lesnar. Chael Sonnen is out indefinitely, so that rules him out. Chris Leben's name was mentioned but he just lost to Brian Stann at UFC 125. Who does that leave, Maniacs? Care to speculate on who the honors will go to?
Nevada Secretary of State Ross Miller says he wants to knock some sense into voters. He is teaming up with UFC for a voter registration rally called "Fight for Your Ultimate Right" at noon on Wednesday in Pida Plaza, which is part of a campaign aimed at inspiring voter turnout.
