"UFC 138 Is Better Event Than Critics And MMA Fans Acknowledge"That's the case Thomas Myers makes at MMA Nation.
Are you one of the many who are panning UFC 138: "Leben vs. Munoz" as a throwaway event that isn't much more than a gigantic waste of time and resources? Well, boo-hoo, folks, this is a much better fight card than anyone is giving it credit for. At least that's what MMAmania.com Founder Thomas Myers is arguing over at MMANation.com. Read it here and give him the old what for if you disagree.

5th Round reports: "The world’s biggest MMA promotion has announced a critical middleweight scrap between Chris Leben and Mark Munoz will headline their long-awaited return to England. UFC 138 takes place November 4th inside the LG Arena at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham. Umm, I thought UFC 138 was supposed to be jumping off November 19th at the HP Pavilion in San Jose, California? Remember? Cain Velasquez puts his heavyweight strap on the line against Junior dos Santos? Well, that show has now been redubbed, UFC 139. For fanboys in the States, the new UFC 138 event will be made available via same-day tape delay on Spike TV. UFC 120 in October of 2010 was the last Octagon show to hit England. Munoz has been quietly and efficiently been moving his way up the middleweight totem pole. The Filipino Wrecking Machine has posted wins in six of his last seven outings and is currently enjoying a three-fight winning streak. Leben was last seen posting a 27-second highlight reel knockout of Wanderlei Silva at UFC 132. "The Crippler" has won four out of his last five, with his lone blemish during the run coming in devastating fashion against Brian Stann. It will be interesting to see whether the victor of this showdown, or the winner of Chael Sonnen vs. Brian Stann at UFC 136 will earn next dibs at the 185-pound crown. No other bouts have been announced at this time."
