UFC on FUEL TV 4 poster pic for 'Munoz vs Weidman' on July 11 in San Jose

UFC on FUEL TV 4: "Munoz vs. Weidman" is now official for the HP Pavilion in San Jose, California, on Wednesday, July 11, 2012.

If you missed out on last weekend's Strikeforce: "Barnett vs. Cormier" event at the HP Pavilion in San Jose, Calif., don't worry, in less than two months the gang at Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) will be back to do it all over again.

And they'll be bringing their FOX buddies with them.

UFC on FUEL TV 4: "Munoz vs. Weidman" will feature two of the 185-pound division's best wrestlers slugging it out in the "Shark Tank" to see who gets one step closer to challenging for the middleweight title later this year.

Who holds the strap when the smoke clears in San Jose all depends on what happens just a few days before, when Anderson Silva defends his title against Chael Sonnen (again) at UFC 148 on July 7 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

More on that fight right here.

Early odds and betting lines for UFC on FUEL TV 4 have the undefeated "All American" taking a short lead as the -150 favorite while "The Filipino Wrecking Machine" trails as the +120 underdog. Elsewhere on the card, Brandon Vera takes on James Te Huna in a light heavyweight affair while Jon Fitch welcomes Aaron Simpson to the welterweight division.

And best of all, it's free.

UFC 147 poster for 'Belfort vs Silva' on June 23 in Brazil

Photo

After a failing to land the event at a soccer stadium that could hold 80,000 screaming fans as originally planned, UFC 147, which will take place on Sat., June 23, 2012, finally settled on the Felipe Drummond Stadium in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil, as the official venue.

But that only came after the show lost its headlining fight.

Indeed, the highly anticipated rematch pitting Anderson Silva vs. Chael Sonnen for the middleweight championship was bumped up to the UFC 148 fight card on July 7 in Las Vegas, Nevada. That left the Vitor Belfort vs. Wanderlei Silva showdown left to main event the world's largest fight promotion's return to Brazil.

While that may seem unworthy of its billing to American fans, the Brazilian faithful are being treated to two hugely popular native sons coming off coaching gigs on the first International season of The Ultimate Fighter (TUF). In addition, Fabricio Werdum will attempt to take one step closer to a heavyweight title shot when he takes on Mike Russow in the night's co-main event.

But that's not all.

TUF: Brazil will also reach its conclusion at UFC 147, as both featherweight and middleweight winners will be crowned. All that and more. Here's how the UFC 147 fight card looks as it stands now:

UFC 148 poster for 'Silva vs Sonnen 2' on July 7 in Las Vegas

UFC 148 poster pic for "Silva vs. Sonnen 2" at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, on July 7, 2012.

"Two grudges will end. Two champions will emerge."

Well, that didn't take very long.

Just hours after Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) President Dana White boarded a private jet bound for Brazil with number one 185-pound title contender, Chael Sonnen (who claims he wore this disguise to sneak over the border), and announced the new UFC 148 main event, we have a fancy new fight poster.

That's right, earlier this afternoon White revealed during a LIVE press conference that the rematch between Anderson Silva vs. Chael Sonnen has been relocated from South America to Las Vegas, Nevada, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on July 7, 2012, because the world's leading mixed martial arts (MMA) promotion could not secure a suitable venue.

UFC 147 will go on as planned elsewhere in Brazil on June 23, 2012, but it just won't have the "biggest fight in the history of combat" sports atop the marquee. On the contrary, that distinction now apparently belongs to the Fourth of July weekend pay-per-view (PPV) event, which most likely saddens Dominick Cruz and Urijah Faber the most because their 135-pound trilogy fight was expected to lead the bill.

Despite the "demotion" to co main event status, the switch make the UFC 148 main card, which features fights between Rich Franklin vs. Cung Le, Michael Bisping vs. Tim Boetsch and Forrest Griffin vs. Tito Ortiz, among others, the most stacked fight card of the year so far.

You mad?

"The Heavyweights."

We're less than two months away from Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) pulling the trigger on its upcoming annual Memorial Day weekend pay-per-view (PPV) event, which emanates LIVE from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Sat., May 26, 2012.

UFC 146 will be headlined by the biggest fight of the year (literally), when heavyweight champion Junior dos Santos puts his strap on the line for the very first time against division number one contender and famed Dutch striker Alistair Overeem.

Also rounding out the all-heavyweight main card are super-sized match-ups between Frank Mir vs. Cain Velasquez, Stefan Struve vs. Mark Hunt, Roy Nelson vs. Antonio Silva and Shane Del Rosario vs. Gabriel Gonzaga.

UFC 145 poster for Jon Jones vs Rashad Evans fight on April 21 in Atlanta

Photo

Nothing fancy here, folks, just the two best light heavyweights in the world today.

Jon Jones vs. Rashad Evans will battle for the 205-pound championship in the main event of UFC 145, which takes place at the Philips Arena on April 21, 2012, in Atlanta, Georgia.

There's more than just a title on the line, though. Hell, it's entirely possible the bragging rights and physical supremacy is far more important to each competitor than a 14-pound piece of gold with the UFC letters on it.

Can't wait.
