Pic: New Ronda Rousey Character Poster For The Expendables 3 Movie

Our friends over at have released one of 16 new character posters for the upcoming Expendables 3 movie starring UFC women's bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey (more on that here). "Rowdy" plays "Luna" alongside Sylvester Stallone and Jason Statham in the action-thriller, expected to hit the big screen on August 15, 2014. Pic: Chris Weidman Gives Successful Thumbs Up From Hospital Bed After Knee Surgery

Middleweight champion Chris Weidman is all groggy smiles after getting his injured knee cleaned up, which forced his showdown with Lyoto Machida to be delayed from UFC 173 until UFC 175. "All American" needs just "four-to-six weeks" to recover, which would give him more than enough time to prepare for "The Dragon" on July 5, 2014, if all goes well. Here's to hoping that is indeed the case.

Pic: New Under Armour Ad Featuring Gina Carano

If Under Armour is indeed working on UFC uniforms -- like this report suggests -- then I hope they have former Strikeforce attraction Gina Carano do all the modeling. "Conviction" has been flirting with a return to MMA for several months and based on this in-store ad, snapped by world-renowned comic book kingpin Robert Liefeld, she appears to still be in fighting shape. See high-res versions of her ad campaign here and here.

Pic: Miesha Tate Looks Great In EA Sports UFC Video Game

Former UFC women's bantamweight number one contender, Miesha Tate, looks great in the new EA Sports UFC video game, which should come as no surprise to anyone who has already seen her naked (if you haven't, then stop reading and check these pics out). "Cupcake" is set to take on Liz Carmouche next month on FOX and will debut on Xbox ONE and PlayStation 4 later this spring (details). See another photo of her in-game likeness from our man Plainview right here.

Pic: California Earthquake Forces Lyoto Machida And Family To Huddle Under A Table

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) middleweight number one contender and UFC 175 headliner Lyoto Machida (via Instagram) can be seen hiding under his kitchen table during the California earthquake, a 5.1 rattler that struck about 20 miles southeast of Los Angeles on Friday night. Aftershocks continue to be felt but fortunately, injuries and damage have been minimal, thanks to quick-thinking residents like Mrs. Dragon, who told her clan to duck and cover when the earth started to shake. Nail biter!

GIF: Rousimar Palhares (Late?) Heel Hook Submission Over Steve Carl At WSOF 9

Click HERE if the image does not play. Deposed UFC welterweight Rousimar Palhares -- booted from the ranks of ZUFFA for holding on to his submissions after the tap - is your new World Series of Fighting (WSOF) welterweight champion, having submitted Steve Carl on Saturday night (March 29, 2014) on NBC Sports from Las Vegas, Nevada (full event results here). But did "Toquinho" take a little too long to break the hold? Tempers are flaring on Twitter and there seems to be arguments in both directions. Take a look at the clip and let us know where you stand. GIF courtesy of Zombie Prophet (follow him here).

Former Heavyweight Boxing Champion Vitali Klitschko Withdraws From Ukraine Presidential Race

Boo! Former heavyweight boxing champion Vitali Klitschko is no longer running for president of Ukraine, instead getting behind billionaire oligarch Petro Poroshenko, according to James Mates (via NBC News). I guess that brings an end to my dream of having every global conflict settled like that "Two Tribes" video from Frankie Goes To Hollywood. Oh well. Photo by Andrew Redington for Getty Images.

GIF: Brett Cooper Knocks Out Kendall Grove Via Donkey Kong Punches At Bellator 114

(Click here if you can't view the GIF) That's some serious ground-and-pound! Former UFC middleweight and TUF 3 champion Kendall Grove got pounded into dust at the Bellator 114 event on Friday night (March 28, 2014) in Utah (results here). The loss for "Da Spyder" (19-14) snapped a two-fight winning streak while "Fudoshin" (20-9) bounces back from his loss to Alexander Shlemenko last September. Thanks to Zombie Prophet for the GIF.

Pic: Injured Raphael Assuncao Apologizes For New UFC 173 Main Event

A lot of fans thought Raphael Assuncao -- winner of six straight -- was slighted when the promotion asked TJ Dillashaw to fight Renan Barao for the bantamweight title in the new UFC 173 main event (more on that here). That's because the Brazilian beat the Team Alpha Male product by way of split decision in late 2013, but was unable to answer the call when matchmakers needed him, thanks to an injury suffered in last month's win over Pedro Munoz. Perhaps Assuncao can get first dibs on the winner?
