Silva will likely have a 25-35 pound weight advantage over Velasquez on the night of the fight, which could help him earn a victory.

-- UFC middleweight (and perhaps future welterweight) Hector Lombard recently posted a picture of his cauliflower ear on his official Twitter account, and the mixed martial arts (MMA) community collectively vomited. There are some nasty cauliflower ears in the sport, but Lombard’s is the kind that will haunt your nightmares for the coming weeks.

Even though "Bi-polar" Shane Carwin called Roy Nelson "fat" and hurt his feelings, "Big Country" was willing to put their rivalry aside to wish him a fond farewell on Facebook. These two power-punching foes were expected to slug it out last December, but the recently-retired "Engineer" succumbed to one of his many injuries and would never return. That makes Nelson sad. Sincere? Or sarcasm?
