One man involved reportedly laid unconscious in the pool of his own blood for about 15 minutes. He was taken to hospital for treatment and was released, police said. Police said they did interview another man involved in the fight. "It’s just one of those things — it just sounds like two guys fighting at UFC," said Winnipeg police spokesman Const. Eric Hofley.
Canadian law enforcement doing a bang-up job at last weekend's UFC 161 event at MTS Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.Former UFC Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar, who can bench press a Volkswagen using only his neck, returned to Monday Night RAW last night (June 17, 2013) to remind CM Punk why he's "The Beast Incarnate." His days inside the Octagon are over, but Lesnar's days inside the weight room, clearly, are not.
The good news is, he blows lightly. After all, "HD" doesn't want to upset those pesky sinuses, aggravated by a punch to the eye during his TKO loss to Shawn Jordan at the UFC 161 pay-per-view (PPV) event last Saturday night (June 15, 2013) at MTS Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada (results here). Have tissues, will travel.
Plenty of political talk on here so I don't feel bad posting this. Give it a listen.

-- UFC featherweight contender Cub Swanson reacts to the news that “The Korean Zombie” Chan Sung Sung will replace the injured Anthony Pettis against Jose Aldo at UFC 163 on Aug. 3, 2013. Swanson, who is currently riding a four-fight win-streak, is clearly not impressed the organization chose to replace Pettis with Jung and not himself. It’s possible that Swanson’s eight-second knockout loss to “Scarface” in 2009 was part of the reason he didn’t get the fight, but regardless, the 29-year-old will have the chance to make his case for a shot at the belt when he meets Dennis Siver at UFC 162 next month.
UFC President Dana White is alarmed that referee Steve Mazzagatti did not stop the World Series of Fighting (WSOF) 3 main event between Josh Burkman vs. Jon Fitch. Burkman stunned and then submitted the former No. 1 UFC Welterweight contender in less than one minute, locking in an airtight guillotine choke that had Fitch unconscious in record time. Mazzagatti, who White called "a clueless idiot," watched as Burkman stood up with Fitch fast asleep on the mat. You agree with White's assessment? To find out how it all went down click here.
-- After eating multiple brutal leg kicks from Justin Gaethje and barely being able to stand up straight, Brian Cobb called for a timeout in the heat of battle at World Series of Fighting (WSOF) 3 tonight (June 14, 2013) in Las Vegas, Nevada. Referee Steve Mazzagatti stopped the second seconds later, awarding Gaethje with the TKO victory. Keep up with all the WSOF 3 action here. -- GIF via Zombie Prophet.
UFC welterweight Champion Georges St. Pierre, who was "pissed off" by his "idiot" director on the set of his latest NOS commercial (watch it here), still has nothing to smile about while pimping the company's popular energy drink. Apparently not even a hot redhead was able to coax a reaction from the stone-faced Canadian, which means he's unlikely to be rattled by John Hendricks epic beard this October.
