Have we learned nothing from the “very serious” incident between Cris Cyborg and Angela Magana?
Apparently not, as Jimi Manuwa threatened to sleep Daniel Cormier on sight after “DC” took to Twitter to clown “Poster Boy” for cheering on his friend and teammate Alexander Gustafsson.
That’s because Manuwa was considered to be next in line for a shot at the Light Heavyweight title, but after Gustafsson’s dominant win over Glover Teixeira at UFC Fight Night 109 (see it), that may have all changed, so “DC” found it odd that Jimi was rooting for the man that may have taken his title shot.
@dc_mma @POSTERBOYJM Don't see what's wrong in supporting his boy. No different from you with Cain. You wouldn't dare to stand n bang with Jimi DC...weak ass???

I'd sleep jimi! https://t.co/vNI2fzyyTS

That prompted Manuwa to respond by calling out Cormier on his weight and threatened to put hands on him when he sees him.
Only thing double cheeseburger is sleeping are the fans @dc_mma concentrate on jones u fat prik. I'll sleep u on sight

Bet you won't. When you see me you'll be trying to shake hands. U know ur a fan jimi. Shut up. I got a title to defend! https://t.co/btnr2hjc21

Cormier is set to defend his 205-pound title against former division champion Jon Jones in the main event of UFC 214 on July 29 in Anaheim, California (details). Manuwa is also expected to be on the card to serve as a backup for “Bones” should he not make the main event, for whatever reason.
That means “DC” will have to be on his toes and have his head on a swivel come fight week, because his rivals will now be coming at him from all angles.
Where you at, Cain?
