The almighty Anderson Silva will make his return to the Octagon later tonight (Sat., Feb. 11, 2017) at UFC 208 live on pay-per-view (PPV) from inside Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, when he meets middleweight power puncher Derek Brunson in the co-main event. Silva will be looking to capture his first Octagon win since defeating Stephan Bonnar back at UFC 153 in 2012.
As if a reminder is even needed, Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) has opened up its vault and released one of Silva's most legendary performances; a second-round TKO victory over Chael Sonnen at UFC 148 (shown above). For everything that went into that fight and the unfathomable trash talking delivered by Sonnen, it was arguably Silva's most career-defining moment.
Only time will tell if Silva is able to add to his legacy later this evening opposite Brunson.
