Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) President Dana White was making the media rounds on Friday to promote the upcoming UFC 208: “Holm vs De Randamie” pay-per-view (PPV) event, locked and loaded for this Saturday night (Feb. 11, 2017) inside Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

Unfortunately, the mainstream media doesn’t give a shit abut the women’s five-round featherweight championship headliner, instead preferring to chase the ghost of “super fights” that will never come to fruition.
Like Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor.
"You saw how hard it was to put together the Floyd-Manny Pacquiao fight and those guys were both in the same sport," White said (transcribed by 247Sports). "I would have to say it's a tough fight to make. I just think there's a lot of egos involved and a lot of heavy lifting to get that fight done."
That’s not all.
The host at ESPN was also inquiring about the return of former women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey, who finds herself at a career crossroads after dropping her second straight fight last December.
"My conversations that I've had with her lead me to believe that she won't fight again, but she didn't tell me that, she did not say to me, 'I am not fighting ever again,’” White said. “She sounds like she's ready to move on to whatever's next in her life. It sounds like she's ready for that."
She’s not the only one.
