In the only heavyweight clash last night (Sat., Sept. 24, 2016) at UFC Fight Night 95 live on FOX Sports 1 from Ginasio Nilson Nelson arena in Brasilia, Brazil, former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) title contender Antonio Silva looked to end a two-fight losing skid when he met knockout artist Roy Nelson in front of a home crowd. Nelson, 40, was coming off a decision loss to Derrick Lewis back at UFC Fight Night 90.
To nobody's surprise, Nelson heavily relied on his powerful right hand to keep Silva at bay and check him went he got going on the feet. And considering "Bigfoot" was sneakily elusive inside and found his distance early, Nelson was throwing his knockout punch at every turn. Fortunately for "Big Country," he found a home for a right uppercut in Round 2 that sent Silva to the canvas. Nelson followed it up with a few extra blows to secure the knockout finish.

With this win, Nelson regains momentum in a division as unpredictable as next year's weather. Silva came into this bout with a beaten chin, but "Big Country" proved he can still bang late into his UFC career.
