I get the feeling top-ranked Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) lightweight contender Khabib Nurmagomedov is tired of 155-pound champion Eddie Alvarez talking about "The Eagle's" reliability when it comes to showing up for fights. Especially since Alvarez, who also held gold under the Bellator MMA banner, dropped his Octagon debut to longtime mixed martial arts (MMA) "Cowboy," Donald Cerrone.
Not that it matters, as Alvarez went on to capture the crown from deposed Brazilian banger Rafael dos Anjos. And let's not forget that Tony Ferguson -- winner of eight straight -- is lurking somewhere in the wings. Hey, who knows, maybe this guy will win and want to try this again.
