From Instagram:
That's Dillon Danis, a jiu-jitsu black belt under Marcelo Garcia.
The grappling phenom was enlisted to help Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) featherweight kingpin Conor McGregor deal with Nate Diaz at the upcoming UFC 202 pay-per-view (PPV) event, which takes this August in Las Vegas, Nevada.
"We've been in contact for a while and the time was just right," Danis told FloGrappling. "He's one of my idols and you don't pass up opportunities like this. He has one of the greatest minds and skill sets ever in the sport."
McGregor was choked into submission by Diaz when they first went to war back at UFC 196. In fact, all three of the Irishman's losses have come by way of surrender, so clearly this is an area in which "Notorious" needs to improve. How much better he can get between March and August remains to be seen.
I guess that explains this.
