Jon Jones just can't help himself.
After finding out that Daniel Cormier had to pull out of their-much anticipated rematch -- which was set to go down at UFC 197 on April 23, 2016 -- "Bones" took the high road and wished his bitter rival a speedy recovery.
Later that night, Jones took to Twitter, yet again, this time to mock "DC" for bowing out of their Light Heavyweight title fight. But, in true Jones form, he deleted the tweet immediately. Of course, there are some very fast snipers out there, including FOX Sports, who captured this screenshot:
Of course, the now-deleted tweet is in reference to Cormier saying he will be "willing to die" in order to assure he retains his belt against "Bones."
As a result of Cormier's injury, Ovince Saint Preux has agreed to step up on three weeks notice to face Jones in a re-worked main event which will see the two men compete for the interim 205-pound title. The winner will then have the chance to unify the titles against "DC" once the wrestler is fully healed.
And don't be surprised if that title unification fight ends up on the already-stacked UFC 200 pay-per-view (PPV) event on July 9, 2016.
