If you like cryptic tweets, this one is for you.
No. 1-ranked lightweight contender Eddie Alvarez appears to have himself a title fight with champion Rafael dos Anjos at the UFC 200 pay-per-view (PPV) blockbuster event, which is set to go down inside the new T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on July 9, 2016.
The former Bellator 155-pound titleholder shared this interesting image yesterday (Fri., March 18) morning on Twitter:

Let the speculation commence.
"RDA" has made it known, ever since he succumbed to a broken foot injury in training, that he would like to challenge welterweight king Robbie Lawler for his strap at UFC 200.
Moving up in weight is all the rage these days.
Anywho, the Brazilian bomber won't be tipping the scales at 170 pounds anytime soon, according to matchmakers, who are leaning towards a rematch between Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz. Both men moved the needle (a hell of a lot) when they locked horns in a 170-pound main event at this month's UFC 196 PPV.
That means the "Notorious" featherweight champion can probably forget about defending his 145-pound title anytime soon, making these two men even more distraught.
Back to Alvarez. The Philadelphia slugger had his own McGregor mission at one time, but now it tentatively seems like he will get a crack at UFC gold, which is exactly what he expected to receive following his second straight win over a Top-10 opponent.
