Welcome to Midnight Mania! Come and stay awhile.
Sunday Funday
The only thing I’ve got for you this fine Sunday is actually from Saturday. Witness Greg Jackson’s prophetic, angry words to his fellow cornermen here. It’s incredible:
Papa Greg Jackson hates his idiot childrenhttps://t.co/LKnK5C3j9k
— Jessica Hudnall (@LegKickTKO) December 12, 2016
That’s right, he called Swanson getting rocked right before Swanson got rocked. Understandably ticked off, he rebuked the cornerman who had been shouting.
i really like greg jackson getting exasperated with the rest of the cornerhttps://t.co/6KzbUkW7Md

Fortunately for Swanson, he is a tough son of a gun and survived to go on and win a decision in what many are calling the fight of the year.
Saturday was the night. The big night. The one we had all been waiting for. Well, maybe not for everyone, but it had been promising to be a great night of fights for a while, and it delivered in a huge way. Many were calling it the card of the year. If you missed it, like I did, you can check out the highlights below.
But first, let’s get your appetite whetted with a bit of violence from Invicta. Check out this insane backfist:

Oh, and it looks like most of Meek’s beard is now in the halls of Valhalla, but enough of the might and power of the gods remained in what was left that Meek was able to score a unanimous decision win over Canadian Jordan Mein.
As far as beards go it's still pretty awesome but shame on the Ontario commission for making him trim it down. pic.twitter.com/6gyEVkwCbp

Speaking of giant Viking-looking men, it turns out that the Mountain was taking it a bit easy on Conor McGregor in their sparring match. (I mean, we could see that already, but just for that one fan that thinks McGregor could really take him)

Too bad it ended early, via arm injury. Badr Hari will probably rematch Veerhoven at some point down the road.
Vannata’s wheel kick KO, if you haven’t seen it, was INSANE.

Cerrone-Brown was not to be denied though. It was also lit.
There are negative fucks in the cage right now. Brown and Cerrone are like the color black of fucks. They are the absence of fucks. #UFC206
