Welp ... he gave it the ol’ college try.
Former World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) Cruiserweight Champion Kid Kash — real name David Cash — returned to mixed martial arts (MMA) this past weekend (Sat., Nov. 5, 2016) at the Nashville Fairgrounds Arena in Nashville, Tennessee.
The bout lasted just 39 seconds.
Cash was shortchanged by Lindsey Jones (not to be confused with “Amazon Barbie”of the same name) which was probably to be expected when you consider the former is 47 years old and the latter is just 22.
The loss pushed Cash to 0-2.
Prior to his contest at Valor Fights 38, Cash called out fellow WWE convert CM Punk. Considering UFC President Dana White wants Punk to hit the local circuit to gain more experience, thanks to a first-round drubbing at the hands of Mickey Gall last September, this fight wouldn’t be a bad idea.
Just kidding, it’s a terrible idea.
