As if UFC 205 wasn't big enough, former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) women's bantamweight queen Ronda Rousey made an appearance during tonight's (Fri., Nov. 11, 2016) weigh ins. After all of UFC 205's participants tipped the scales in front of a hungry Madison Square Garden crowd in New York City, N.Y., including a staredown between current lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez and mixed martial arts (MMA) superstar Conor McGregor, Rousey came out on stage and went face-to-face with current women's bantamweight queen Amanda Nunes (shown above courtesy of MMA Fighting) to promote their main event tilt at UFC 207 on Dec. 30 from Las Vegas, Nevada.
This is the first time Rousey has stepped on the UFC stage since the night before she lost to Holly Holm via knockout back at UFC 193. The massive MMA star has been on the comeback path ever since and delivered a momentary glimpse into her title fight with Nunes later this year. It was quite the surprise and a nice way to end the first massive weigh ins from NYC.
