Valentina Shevchenko isn't just one of the best female fighters in Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) today, recently defeating former women's bantamweight champion Holly Holm this past July, but she's apparently one hell of a shot.
In the above video, courtesy of Fancy MMA, the 28-year-old Russian can be seen obliterating a shooting range target center mass with a Colt 1911. It is quite impressive, especially considering "Bullet" is all of 5'5", 135 pounds. Seems like her pistol game is as good as her Octagon striking.
Remember, Shevchenko was part of a restaurant shooting earlier this year in which her manager took a bullet while attempting to stop the insanity. It's unknown if Shevchenko is honing her shot in case something similar happens down the road, but she looks like a beast on the range nonetheless.
With no current fight scheduled, Shevchenko will be paying close attention when current UFC women's bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes meets a returning Ronda Rousey at UFC 207 this December. Considering Shevchenko looked tremendous on the feet opposite Holm at UFC on FOX 20, she may have the inside track to the next divisional title shot.
