Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) recently released this sneak peek of its UFC 194 event poster, designed to promote the upcoming "Aldo vs. McGregor" pay-per-view (PPV) card, which takes place on Dec. 12, 2015 inside MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
While Jose Aldo is the reigning featherweight champion, it's interim titleholder Conor McGregor who gets the most real estate, dwarfing his Brazilian counterpart in a pose not unlike Christ the Redeemer. I guess that's a receipt for padding the ZUFFA pocketbook and shutting down Ireland.
Featured in the co-main event is the middleweight showdown between champion Chris Weidman and challenger Luke Rockhold, a 185-pound title fight that doesn't feature a Brazilian for the first time in nine years. Overall, it's a can't miss fight card (see the full line up here) and one that could lead to the biggest event of all time.
Assuming Aldo sticks to the script...
