For the second straight year, Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) women's bantamweight champion, Ronda Rousey, has been nominated for two ESPY awards, as she received nods for both "Best Female Athlete" and "Best Fighter."
But she isn't the only fighter on the UFC roster getting love from ESPN, as Donald Cerrone also received a nomination for "Best Fighter."
And it's a well-deserved one, too, as "Cowboy" has gone on a tear as of late, winning eight straight fights in the lightweight division dating back to 2013. As a result, Cerrone earned himself his first-ever shot at the 155-pound strap when Rafael dos Anjos returns from surgery.
Now he has the chance to go home with another piece of hardware, if he can earn more votes than Rousey, as well as boxing's Floyd Mayweather Jr., Gennady Golovkin, and Terence Crawford.
Good luck.
At last year's award show, "Rowdy" walked away with the "Best Female Athlete" trophy, though she and former UFC light heavyweight champion, Jon Jones, came up short in the "Best Fighter" category to Floyd Mayweather Jr.
Make sure you head over to ESPN.com (click here) to cast your vote and help "Rowdy" and "Cowboy" walk out with the top prize on July 15, 2015 in Los Angeles, California.
