That's a wrap from Deutschland, as UFC Fight Night 69: "Jedrzejczyk vs. Penne" has officially wrapped from Berlin, Germany, which means it's time to honor those select fighters who went above and beyond in their respective fights last Saturday (June 20, 2015) inside O2 World Arena.
Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) dished out its standard post-fight monetary bonuses to four of the 22 fighters on the UFC Fight Pass-streamed card, and it's probably no surprise as to who's getting a little extra grease for their mixed martial arts (MMA) efforts.
Reigning UFC Strawweight Champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk picked up a $50,000 "Fight of the Night" bonus for beating the brakes off 115-pound title contender Jessica Penne, out-landing the former Invicta champ 162-28 and leaving her face a bloody mess (pic).
The good news is, Penne has 50,000 reasons to feel better about her loss.
That's not all.
Mairbek Taisumov and Arnold Allen were both awarded $50,000 "Performance of the Night" bonuses. Taisumov smashed Alan Patrick by way of violent head kick in the second round of their lightweight affair, while Allen choked out Alan Omer in featherweight action.
Here are the special UFC Fight Night 69 performance bonuses:
Performance of the Night -- Mairbek Taisumov
Performance of the Night -- Arnold Allen
Fight of the Night -- Joanna Jedrzejczyk vs. Jessica Penne
Again, each fighter received an extra $50,000 for their performances in Berlin, addition to their respective base salaries, which are likely to remain undisclosed following the promotion's overseas fight card.
