And he's certainly no "Jacare" Souza.
Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) middleweight kingpin Chris Weidman doesn't sound overly concerned about facing division No. 1 contender Luke Rockhold later this year, despite the fact that the former Strikeforce champ has won four straight fights with four violent finishes.
The "All American" talks to the combat sports media (via MMA Junkie):
"He's good looking. I'll give him that. Other than that, he stinks at everything. No, he's good. He's well-rounded. It doesn't matter. Any of these guys at my weight, I'm just running through everybody. What'd he say? He can beat me at everything? He can't beat me at jiu-jitsu, he can't beat me at stand-up, and he can't beat me at wrestling."
That remains to be seen.
To his credit, Weidman (13-0) continues to rule the 185-pound roost without much opposition. Most recently, he turned away Vitor Belfort by way of first-round technical knockout in what amounted to his fourth straight fight -- and win -- over a Brazilian (and former champion).
Will Rockhold (14-2) be the one to stop him?
