The world's leading kickboxing promotion announced its third fight card of 2015. GLORY 21 will take place on May 8, 2015 in San Diego, California, at the Valley View Casino Center. This will be the promotion's third-ever trip to the Golden State.
The kickboxing card will be headlined by a middleweight title fight between Artem "The Lion" Levin and the winner of the GLORY 20: "Dubai" middleweight contender tournament, which takes place on April 3, 2015. That means Levin could potentially face Wayne Barrett, Simon "Bad Bwoy" Marcus, Alex "Po Atan" Pereira, or Jason "Tyson" Wilnis.
Levin last fought at GLORY: "Last Man Standing" in June of last year. The Russian won three fights that night, defeating Pereira, Filip Verlinden and Joe "Stitch 'em Up" Schilling to win the inaugural GLORY middleweight title and $200,000 in prize money.
Also on the GLORY 21 card will be an All-American heavyweight qualifier tournament, with the winner earning a spot in a heavyweight contender tournament taking place later on in 2015.
According to the press release, ticket information, additional fights on the card and the heavyweight qualifier tournament participants will be announced at a later date.
The event will air live on Spike at 9 p.m. ET on Friday, May 8, 2015.
