Two former champions with nothing everything to lose.
Former EliteXC 265-pound kingpin Antonio Silva (18-6-1) has beaten some of the greatest fighters to ever compete in the heavyweight division. Not just in Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), but all of mixed martial arts (MMA).
In the UFC Fight Night 61 main event on FOX Sports 1, he'll look to add Frank Mir to a list of victims that includes Fedor Emelianenko, Alistair Overeem, and Andrei Arlovski.
But Mir (16-9) knows a thing or two about turning away giants.
The grappling guru will try to do what he does best later tonight (Sun., Feb. 22, 2015) inside Gigantinho Gymnasium in Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, and that's make huge men tap. Just ask Brock Lesnar, Cheick Kongo, and Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira what happens when you test his submission skills.
So ... who's going to win?
First, we'll hear from "Bigfoot," who gets some help from a foreign "Country" in preparation for Mir.
Next, we'll check in with the "Bigfoot Hunter" and why he's going to leave Brazil in the win column.
Just over 12 hours to go!
