Super Bowl 49 takes place tonight (Sun., Feb. 1, 2015) from University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Ariz., featuring the AFC Champion New England Patriots riding Tom Brady's arm (and maybe a deflated football or two) into town to take on the NFC Champion Seattle Seahawks, who are still laying wood via that vaunted "Legion of Boom" led defense.
It's one hell of a match up.
Thankfully, we've got Eric Allen in the above video breaking down who has the advantages across the board in four key categories: Defense, Quarterback, Running game, and Coaching.
Who has the edge:
Defense: Seattle
Quarterback: New England
Running Game: Seattle
Coaching: New England
No surprises there, considering Seattle's defense is just short of creating a dynasty with Marshawn Lynch carrying the load on offense while Tom Brady and Bill Belichick have been the most successful postseason duo since Joe Montana and Bill Walsh were terrorizing the league in the 1980s.
For his money, Allen feels Seattle's strong defense and bruising rushing attack will carry them to a 20-17 victory.
Do you agree?
We'll find out tonight!
Be sure to keep it locked here all Sunday afternoon because we will have complete Patriots vs. Seahawks results, including quarter-by-quarter, play-by-play updates, from kickoff to final whistle.
