NASTY! Look at Chris Weidman's swollen, cut and busted up mug

33

It was the beating that just seemed to go on and on and on. Luke Rockhold had secured full mount on Chris Weidman in the third round of UFC 194's co-main event last night (Sat., Dec. 12, 2015) and began raining down punches and elbows as the champion began to cover up. Despite giving Weidman a chance to defend himself, the fight inexplicably continued long after Herb Dean could have safely waved it off without any complaint from fans. Weidman did recover slightly in his corner between rounds, but the beating was too much, succumbing to Rockhold's pressure in the fourth (highlights here). What do you think? Did Herb Dean blow it big time here? Photo h/t to Jeff G. ‏@TheSportsDud
