The finishes keep on coming on the exciting UFC Fight Night 80 mixed martial arts (MMA) card tonight (Thurs., Dec. 10, 2015) inside "The Chelsea" at The Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas, Nevada.
For the third time this evening, a combatant was turned back early and it came via the ferocious striking attack of the Argentinian mauler Santiago Ponzinibbio, who put a hurting on Sweden's Andreas Stahl.
From the get-go, Stahl was in a world of trouble and couldn't see daylight through the incoming bombs that "Gente Boa" was hurling. Ponzinibbio landed at will -- and often -- targeting the head of Stahl with vicious intent.
The 29-year-old had Stahl pinned against the fence multiple times during their Fight Pass "Prelims" tilt, and eventually found the finish, scoring with a heat-seeking right hand that crippled Stahl at the 4:25 mark of round one.
