Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Strawweight Champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk (10-0) will defend her 115-pound title against Canadian striker Valerie Letourneau (8-3) in the co-main event of the UFC 193 pay-per-view (PPV) inside Etihad Stadium in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia on Nov. 14, 2015.
If the current betting line from Bovada holds up, she'll do it as the -2000 favorite.
That's actually higher than what undefeated UFC women's bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey has been able to hit in her combat sports career, which includes her lopsided pairing against Bethe Correia for the UFC 190 PPV earlier this year in Brazil.
In fact, I don't think I've seen the 2k mark since "Cyborg's" 2009 snuff film (starring Jan Finney).
The unblemished Jedrzejczyk continues to look better in each passing fight, but it should be noted that "Joanna Champion" also has five decision wins, so it would not surprise me to see this betting line shift (albeit slightly) as we inch closer to fight night (see the full fight card here).
And if Letourneau (+900) was looking for some extra motivation for a bookie-busting upset, I'd say she's got it.
