It's not quite on the level of Travis Browne vs. Andrei Arlovski, but when Heavyweight Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) contenders Ben Rothwell and Brendan Schaub squared off inside the Octagon, it was pretty terrific.
"Big Ben" -- a veteran of 44 mixed martial arts (MMA) bouts -- faces fellow 265-pound contender Stipe Miocic at UFC Fight Night 76 in Dublin, Ireland, on Oct. 24, 2015, in a fight that will move the winner closer toward a title shot.
Rothwell is the owner of a three-fight win streak, including two, first-round finishes over Matt Mitrione and Alistair Overeem. Meanwhile, Miocic is 4-1 in his last five outings, and is coming off a beatdown over perennial contender Mark Hunt last May.
However, before they go toe-to-toe, enjoy this fight appetizer provided for you by UFC.
In the above meeting with "The Hybrid," the soon-to-be 34-year-old Rothwell was searching for some consistency in UFC after going 1-2 in his first three fights.
Rothwell was actually dazed by a picture-perfect spinning back elbow, which connected flush on the former's chin, and sent backward only to heave a gigantic left hook at a charging Schaub to notch a spectacular come-from-behind knockout win.
