Looks like there is, in fact, a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.
Irish superhero Conor McGregor earned a base salary of $170,000 (plus this) for kicking the crap out of Dennis Siver ($39,000) at the UFC Fight Night 59 event last Sunday night in Boston, Mass., which is more than longtime lightweight veteran Donald Cerrone.
But don't cry for "Cowboy," because he still made $146,000 for taking the judges' nod against Ben Henderson ($48,000).
The total disclosed payroll for the FOX Sports 1 event, courtesy of the Massachusetts State Athletic Commission, was $831,000 -- though most of that was tied up in the main and co-main events. Other notable salaries include Gleison Tibau ($90,000) and Lorenz Larkin ($56,000).
