I guess Rafael Cavalcante wasn't joking when he said Anderson Silva was beating him up in training camp.
At least he didn't get knocked out, like the poor sap in this video from "The Spider's" recent training camp. The footage, which was filmed by Globo and posted by Guilherme Cruz, shows what happens when you throw hands with the former UFC middleweight champion.
Even with protective head gear.
Gulp.
The Brazilian is charged with headlining one half of the upcoming UFC 183 pay-per-view (PPV) event, booked for Jan., 31, 2015, inside the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada (more on that card here). His long-awaited return comes little over one year after a catastrophic leg injury sent him into emergency surgery.
Waiting to greet him will be welterweight import Nick Diaz, and based on what we've seen so far, it looks like the angry "Spider" has something to prove.
Scary stuff.
