Amid the hoopla of UFC 182 fight week (full fight card here), you may have missed some fractional UFC news. Following the release of Charlie Brenneman on Tuesday, it was revealed that affable UFC veteran Ike Vallie-Flagg has also been handed his walking papers.

Although this marks the end of Vallie-Flagg's UFC career, the MMA veteran is looking to fight in Bellator come 2015:

The Greg Jackson product lost three straight fights inside the Octagon, most recently losing an uninspiring unanimous decision to Matt Wiman back in November.
That's not all.
British UFC flyweight Phil Harris has decided to hang up his gloves and call his MMA career after 36 professional bouts and a 1-3-1 UFC record.
Harris takes to Twitter:
