Jordan Mein picked up an impressive first-round knockout victory over Mike Pyle at UFC Fight Night 49 on Aug. 23, 2014 (video highlights), despite the fact that he didn't have his father, Lee Mein, in his corner shouting instructions.
That's because Lee was arrested the day prior to the event after he was accused of sexually assaulting a housekeeper at the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) host hotel in Tulsa, Oklahoma (details).
Though he was released from custody on bail a few hours later, UFC officials barred him from cornering his son or attending the event due to the "deplorable" allegations.

Yesterday, Lee had his first day in front of a judge in Tulsa where he entered a plea of "not guilty," according to a report from MMA Fighting. His lawyer, Jason Edge, offered up this statement in his client's defense.
"[Lee] insists this did not happen, hence the not guilty plea. He insists he's being wrongfully accused."
A preliminary hearing has been set for Oct. 23, 2014.
Mein Sr., a mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter himself, was last seen competing under the World Series of Fighting (WSOF) banner earlier this year where he lost to former UFC heavyweight, Tim Hague, via first round technical knockout.
No word yet on whether Lee is still under contract with WSOF or if he's been relieved of his duties with the promotion, considering the allegations.
Stay tuned.
