How is Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Light Heavyweight champion Jon Jones preparing for his upcoming title defense against Daniel Cormier, which has been re-scheduled for UFC 182 on Jan. 3, 2015?
By doing some one-on-one sparring with former Heavyweight boxing champion, "Iron" Mike Tyson.
Check it out (via Jones' Instagram):
Okay, okay ... so they're not really all geared up or in an actual ring or cage. Still, it seems "Kid Dynamite" -- an avid mixed martial arts (MMA) fan -- is still pretty good with his hands.
And luckily for "Bones," he still has good control.
It appears Jones is recovering quite nicely from the recent knee surgery, one he had to get done thanks to an unfortunate injury he suffered during a real-life sparring session.
Since Jones now has five months to kill before he goes head-to-head with "DC," might as well live it up and spar with a boxing legend and rub elbows with a certain former UFC Heavyweight champion ... and newly-crowned WWE champ.
