Penn was upright once again to start the second. Edgar was ducking in and out and landing blows as he moved in and out. He grabbed a single leg but let it go quickly.
"The Prodigy's" lack of offensive output was downright bizarre. He finally threw a combination that landed but Edgar was having far too much success when he was throwing.
Then, no different than the opening round, Frankie took an open opportunity and nabbed a takedown.
From top, he applied pressure with punches and posturing up. Kenny Florian wondered what the hell BJ was doing with his fight strategy, considering he was getting owned through two rounds.
Edgar started landing hard shots that very clearly did damage to Penn's face. He went from big punches to elbows and the crowd could tell there was blood in the water.
After the horn, it felt like only a matter of time.
