Let's start off with Joe Rogan getting put on blast by UFC President Dana White for asking Ronda Rousey if she was willing to rescue the UFC 176 pay-per-view (PPV) event in Los Angeles, Calif., which takes place in less than a month and is without a main event (because of this).

Turns out Rogan was not to blame for the post-fight faux pas, according to comments White made at the UFC 175 post-fight press conference (watch the replay here), not long after "Rowdy" destroyed Alexis Davis in the "Weidman vs. Machida" co main event.
"I wasn't upset with Joe Rogan. I was upset with the truck telling him to tell Ronda that she's going to fight again. That wasn't true. That was some shit that somebody made up back there. It was the biggest idiotic move in the history of our production team. I told them right up there that's not true. I don't know where that came from. Nobody told anybody to say that."
In a completely unrelated bit of news, the UFC production team is now accepting resumes.
In fairness, Rousey did say she was willing to step in and fight on 24 hours notice if the promotion needed her. Then again, that was before UFC 175, which revealed a couple of nagging injuries (like this one) that need to be taken care of, effectively eliminating this scenario.
