UFC 175 fighter payouts for those athletes competing at the "Weidman vs. Machida" pay-per-view (PPV) event last weekend (Sat., July 5, 2014) from inside Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, were released earlier today by the Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC).
Not surprisingly, UFC Middleweight Champion Chris Weidman was the top earner of the night, following a five-round unanimous decision win over Lyoto Machida in the "Sin City" main event (replay here). What was surprising, was just how much coin will be jingling in those "All American" pockets for taming "The Dragon."
UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey tied former WEC featherweight kingpin Urijah Faber for second place, with a cool $120,000. Both "Rowdy" and "The California Kid" were able to secure finishes in each of their respective contests.
That's not all.
