We interrupt the ongoing drama between Michael Bisping and Luke Rockhold to focus on the man "The Count" will actually fight next, Cung Le.
Bisping and Le are set to headline UFC Fight Night 48, which goes down inside Cotai Arena in Macau, China, on Aug. 23, 2014, live on UFC Fight Pass. It's a Middleweight fight that can have a major impact on the current Ultimate fighting Championship (UFC) rankings.

Known for having Cain Velasquez-like cardio, Bisping has shown time and again that his opponents can't rely on him gassing out during a fight. But in Le's assessment, if the British banger relies on his cardio to help him go a full five rounds, he better be ready to absorb the punishment that comes with a long, drawn out fight against a power-punching sanshou Shaolin.
His words (via MMA Junkie):
"This time around, I'm going to pace myself and try not to blow my wad in the first two rounds. I feel really good for this fight. Nothing promised, but I know I'm ready to go. I think the only threat [Bisping presents] is his cardio. He's going to try to take me to the late rounds, but when you take me to the late rounds when I'm shape, you're going to have to endure all the damage that I'm going to bring that night."
Since Bisping plans to prescribe major dosages of pain, this 185-pound fight will probably not be suitable for the faint of heart.
As far as his fighting career moving forward goes, Le says he's playing it one day at a time because he still has a very successful life outside the cage under Hollywood's bright lights.
"One fight at a time -- we'll see. I pushed a few movie projects for this fight. It wasn't a leading role, but I want to compete and be the main event. I love superfights, and Michael is a superfight to me. I plan to bring the lightning followed by the thunder."
Indeed, the former Strikeforce Middleweight champion has often put fighting on the back-burner to focus on his acting career.

This time around, however, it seems that "Tinseltown" is taking a backseat to Le's preference of knocking off peoples heads ... for real.
