Mandatory vacations!
Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) will be say goodbye to those fighters who competed at the UFC on FOX 12: "Lawler vs. Brown" mixed martial arts (MMA) event last Saturday night (July 26, 2014) inside SAP Center in San Jose, California.
At least until their physicians clear them to come back.
Chief among them is "Immortal" Matt Brown, who could face up to six months on the sidelines for his nasal fail. That's not nearly as bad as Hernani Perpetuo, who was not even eligible for a return date, thanks to possible fractures to his hand and foot.
That's not all.
Here is the complete list of UFC on FOX 12 injuries and medical suspensions from California State Athletic Commission (via Sherdog):

Just a quick reminder: Fighters often return to action much quicker once doctors give them the green light. The lengthy suspensions are just a precaution in most cases. In addition, not all injuries are recorded during the post-fight examination and often times surface in follow-up tests.
