Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) light heavyweight champion Jon Jones will defend his 205-pound strap against undefeated 205-pound contender Daniel Cormier, who steps in for the injured Alexander Gustafsson to try to break "Bones" in the UFC 178 main event on Sept. 27, 2014 in Las Vegas, Nevada (full fight card here).
And despite his perfect record -- and reign of terror at heavyweight -- the Olympian is currently a +160 underdog. Jones, meanwhile, is sitting pretty at -210.
That's not all.
International featherweight rock star Conor McGregor will return to the states in an attempt to prove he's more than just hype, by taking on venerable 145-pound contender Dustin Poirier (details).
While he originally opened as the odds-on favorite at -225, "The Diamond" recently slipped (by a lot) to +170.
The "Notorious" one jumped way up to -230.
Expect these lines to shift as we get closer to fight night (see more odds and betting lines here) but the early money is swinging toward Jones and McGregor.
Sound about right to you?
