What injury?
Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) middleweight champion Anderson Silva is slowly but surely inching his way back into mixed martial arts (MMA), after a devastating leg injury -- and subsequent surgery -- forced him out of the fight game back in late 2013.
While he may not be looking to exact revenge on the man who stole his 185-pound strap (because of this), "The Spider" does intend to make good on his current UFC contract. Good news for fight fans, bad news for mid-tier middleweights.
One step punch at a time.
Silva, who turns 40 next April, is already kicking on his surgically-repaired leg (watch it here) and has also been working his ground game (video), but he's still at least eight-to-10 months away from his Octagon return. That should give this guy plenty of time to get his ducks in a row.
If not, there's always Plan B.
