As Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) prepares to stage UFC Fight Night 45: "Cerrone vs. Miller" later tonight (Weds., July 16, 2014) at the Revel Casino Hotel in Atlantic City, New Jersey, co-headliners Jim Miller and Donald Cerrone made sure they didn't leave home unprepared for their upcoming lightweight battle.
After taking care of business in training camp, Miller and "Cowboy" had to be on point leading up to the official weigh-ins, which went down yesterday (Tues., July 15, 2014) on location in "The Garden State" (video), in order to avoid a fail scale.
To help them hit their mark (which they did) and survive the week before stepping foot inside the Octagon, Miller and Cerrone brought along their "Survival Kits."
Miller's includes:
- home scale
- special memory foam pillow
- hard boiled eggs
- chicken
- heater
- post-weigh in junk food
Not to be outdone, "Cowboy" brought along a home on wheels, using an RV to make the trip from Albuquerque, New Mexico, which carries his own tempurpedic bed, a much more enjoyable ride for he and his crew.
But perhaps the most important thing in Cerrone's kit is the plethora of candy he brings along to give him some much-needed "fake energy."
Cavities FTW!
UFC Fight Night 45, which also includes a co-main event pitting talented lightweights Edson Barboza and Evan Dunham against one another, will air live on FOX Sports 1.
