Henderson came out firing in the fourth. He rushed in on Khabilov and landed a hard shot that stunned Rustam, putting him down on the mat.

Henderson vs. Khabilov live blog: Round 3

Khabilov was winging wild punches early in the round, all of them missing high. Henderson came back with a big punch to the body that couldn't find the mark.

A kick led to a takedown, which led to Khabilov grabbing the neck and sitting down on his opponent. There wasn't enough action for the referee, so he asked for the two to pick up the pace.

The announce team started wondering why Khabilov wasn't attacking in volume while Henderson was winning coming out of the clinch. Henderson rushed and landed a hard uppercut that forced Rustam to duck down. From there, "Smooth" jumped a guillotine but never quite locked it in.

Henderson was taken down again but managed a sit out and reversal, where he ended up on top and passed to half guard. That's where the round ended.

Henderson vs. Khabilov, Round 2

Khabilov came out spinning around and landing with kicks only for Henderson to hit hard with a counter shot to keep Rustam against the fence. They clinched shortly after and battled against the fence.

In a physical test like that, Khabilov had the advantage.

Rustam snagged a takedown but "Smooth" stood up rather quickly. Henderson jumped him and quickly took his back, locking in a triangle position from there. With a full two minutes remaining in the round, there was plenty of time to work.

Khabilov escaped after just 30 seconds, however, and it was back to fighting against the fence. On the breakaway, the Russian started spamming a right hand that Henderson saw coming from a mile away.

He avoided until the final punch of the round, a hard shot that pushed "Bendo" back.

Henderson vs. Khabilov, Round 1

Henderson was working an elbow early that the fans were super into. Khabilov didn't care and fired off left hands.

A spinning kick low failed to land from Khabilov and "Bendo" responded with a rush and flurry of punches. He landed one or two but the flying knee finish left him open for a takedown.

He got right back up but that just meant he was in a body lock with the Russian wrestler with big slams.

Sadly, no slam here.

On the reset, Henderson went back to pressing forward. Khabilov swiftly side stepped a punch and landed one of his own. He was hanging around just fine with the former lightweight champion.

Bendo landed a hard left that got a response but Rustam came back with heavy shots of his own. Of note, Henderson wasn't throwing kicks. He went for a flying knee but Khabilov timed it perfectly and earned a takedown with about 20 seconds left in the round.

It closed with Rustam on top.
