Episode eight of The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 19: "Team Edgar vs. Team Penn" gets underway with a brief recap of last weeks episode where Team Penn dropped another as Anton Berzin lost a three-round decision to Team Edgar's Patrick Walsh (recap), which means Edgar and Co. have control of the fights.

At the TUF gym, Mike King (Team Penn) dissects his upcoming middleweight fight versus Eddie Gordon (Team Edgar), anticipating a "war" against the former football player,  who calls for the body bags as he predicts a "one-sided ass whooping."

Back at the house, King starts complaining about the dirty kitchen, which is an absolute mess.  He leaves a note saying "wash your dishes" aimed at Team Edgar. Sure enough, Gordon happens to be the one to read the note and proceeds to leave King -- whom he dubs the woman of the house -- a rebuttal.

King reveals how he turned his life around thanks to his girlfriend after serving time in jail and how his old football coach got him into mixed martial arts (MMA).

Coleman and King discuss a gameplan, as "The Hammer," as well as B.J. Penn, advise king against trading punches with the more powerful striker, something King is hellbent on doing.

Up next, the long-awaited coaches challenge as Edgar and Penn go head-to-head in a kayak race, something Edgar says gives the Hawaii-born Penn an advantage. Winner get's $10,000 and $1,500 for each of their fighters.

And they're off!

Penn gets an early lead, but Edgar closes the gap.  Damn, that looks exhausting! Penn regains the lead on the turn and proceeds to leave Edgar pretty far behind.  Edgar tries to make one final push, but Penn's rowing skills prove to be far superior as he gets the win for his team.

Gordon predicts a finish while King proclaims that there is no man that can stop him. Something's got to give.
